Payouts and Expiry Times

Two factors affect the payouts received by traders:

a)    The type of account that is opened

b)    The use of Early Closure and Loss return functions on the platforms. by the trader determines the payout received on a trade.

There are two types of accounts: the Standard Account and VIP account. Standard account holders get of between 65% and 85% for High/Low, 60 second, Boundary and Touch/No Touch trades. The high yield trades will yield 400% on successful trades.

Apart from the high yield trades that expire after one week, other trade types can be set to expire in 15 minutes, 30 minutes, one hour, two hours, four hours and one day. The 60 second option expires in 60 seconds.

Bonuses and Promotions

There are two bonuses given to traders on GFTrades:

a)    A personalized welcome bonus given to new traders.

b)    Refer a Friend bonus. This is given out as part of a structured affiliate program and not randomly as seen on some broker platforms.

c)     Presently, there is a special bonus on GFTrades: the March of Madness. In the month of March 2013, all trades made on the GFTrades platform will be completely commission free.


Asset Index

The following assets are traded on GFTrades:

1)    Stocks: British Petroleum, Barclays, Google, Apple, France Telecom, Societe Generale, Sony, Sumitomo.


3)    Commodities: Oil, silver and gold.

4)    Stock Indices: These are traded as futures assets and include the Dow Jones, Nasdaq, S&P500, NIFTY, CAC40, DAX, FTSE100, IBEX35, Hang Seng, Nikkei 225, ASX200 and SMI.

There is a mobile trading application for the iPhone and Android which enables traders to profit on the go. All trades also come with a loss return facility which is set to a maximum of 10% to provide returns to the trader even in the event of losing trades.

Deposits and Withdrawals

In what ways can traders make deposits and withdrawals on GFTrades?

a)    Credit/debit cards: Virtually all major credit cards can be used on GFTrades.

b)    Bank wires can also be used, especially by traders who do not have access to credit cards. Using this method requires a minimum deposit of 500 USD, GBP or Euros.

Traders can maintain accounts on GFTrades in Japanese Yen, US Dollars, British Pounds or Euros.

Minimum Deposit

The minimum deposit will depend on the method of transaction used. $200 is the minimum deposit amount for credit card deposits while $500 is the minimum deposit for bank wires.

Maximum Deposit

Min Investment Amount

The minimum investment amount per trade is $50 or 50 Euros/GBP.

Max Investment Amount

The maximum investment amount per trade is pegged at 500 US Dollars, British Pounds or Euros. This equates to 4,000 Japanese Yen.

Deposit Info

Not only must all cards to be used be verified, but the use of credit cards is restricted to certain countries. The trader will therefore be required to contact the support desk on GFTrades to find out if they can use credit cards on their network.

Withdrawal Info

The minimum withdrawal amount on GFTrades is 100 US Dollars, Euros, British Pounds. Two free withdrawals via credit card can be made per month. Any subsequent withdrawals per month with credit cards, and all bank wire withdrawals attract a $25 surcharge.
