Gekko Global Markets Acquires Spread Betting Firm, Delta Index

Gekko Global Markets recently acquired Ireland’s biggest spread betting provider, Delta Index, which has around 4,000 customers.  While the takeover is expected to be completed by the end of the year, GGM representatives have said that they intend to keep the Delta Index brand for the time being.

Gekko Global Markets (GGM) current provides financial spread betting and CFD trading services to customers in the UK, in addition to providing new customers with a £1,000 initial cash bonus.   GGM already has big plans for 2012, including a brand new mobile trading platform, the new “TradeHub” investment platform, advanced charting packages plus the option to trade on more dynamic markets such as ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds).
